Circular Economy Research Networks Project

The research identified a series of short, medium and long term recommended actions to improve circularity for the creative and cultural sector:
Short term:
Action 1: Creation of ‘Arts Council England Circular Economy Directory’
Action 2: Creation of a cross-art and culture discipline working group to facilitate knowledge exchange on circular networks
Action 3: Mapping of training opportunities in circularity
Action 4: Creation of liability good practice guidance
Action 5: Creation of intellectual property good practice guidance
Action 6: Creation of centralised document support – good practice examples and templates
Medium term:
Action 7: Development of guidance on evaluating the environmental, social and economic impacts of circular economy networks in the sector
Action 8: Development of a pilot project - Data collection and analysis of circular economy network datasets
Action 9: Map asset and material flows in the arts and culture sector
Action 10: Mapping storage demand and space requirements
Action 11: Mapping empty spaces
Action 12: Inventory and asset management taxonomy
Action 13: Funding agreements to encourage use of circular networks
Long term:
Action 14: Local Circular Economy Network pilot
