South Ken ZEN circular economy hub pilot

The South Ken Zero Emissions Nature Positive (ZEN+) Programme is an initiative of the Exhibition Road Cultural Group (ERGC), externally known as Discover South Kensington. They bring together 23 arts and cultural institutions in South Kensington to tackle the greatest climate and biodiversity crisis of our time.
South Kensington is an internationally famous cultural district dedicated to science, art and innovation. Building on this legacy of creativity and learning, the aim of South Ken ZEN+ is to harness the world-class expertise and profile of these institutions to accelerate our collective progress towards becoming a net-zero nature positive neighbourhood.
This circular economy hub is an online pilot initiative which encourages our institutions to lend, borrow or request exhibition materials and furniture, helping to reduce waste and extend the life of valuable resources. Organisations directly share materials between themselves, hosted on the South Ken ZEN+ platform. This initiative is being led by Tina Montalbano, South Ken ZEN+ Programme Manager and the Environmental Impact team at the Design Museum.
