PropUp Hub

PropUp Project focuses their work on the 3 Rs: rehome, resell and recycle. With a sustainable and social clearance solution for the TV and film industry, PropUp Project offers reuse potential for a wide range of materials, including props, costume, set, scenery, timber and materials. From set sales, industry donations and storage clearances (and more) they manage the process from inventory to distribution, whilst connecting local charities, community groups and recycling centres to reuse items. They collect and distribute items by E-van, bike or foot, with a particular focus on supporting local companies to redistribute items to the Lambeth community.
Via Set Sales, they offer the welcome opportunity to redistribute and potentially recoup production budget by selling high quality items at public sale. Items can also be donated via drop off or delivery at their location. They provide comprehensive reporting, outlining an overview of an item’s reuse journey for post production impact reporting.
With a diverse range of activities, they offer bespoke services to production companies that enable the embedding of circular economy processes into production in an accessible and flexible way. With over 30,000 items donated so far, PropUp Project have expanded from their warehouse in the heart of Brixton, to a second warehouse in Central London.
